Comping......

I have an addiction. I am a comper. I win competitions and my hobby is entering them. The results of being a comper have been amazing for me and I'd love to help you to become one too. Comping has changed my life. It has led me to travel the world and taking part in a competition helped me get to know my now husband. It can change your life too.

I never walk past a competition with a prize I want with out entering as I know it is totally possible to win.

My heart was racing. I hung up the phone and my hands were shaking. I'd just won a trip to Panama on the radio for two people. A place I knew very little about till the day before and now I was heading there. Kev, my boyfriend started to text his mum.

'Hang on' I said. Now this was awkward. It was November and I had read in the T and C's we could not take the trip till May the following year. My live-in boyfriend and I had become friends definitely not lovers. So it was pretty clear to me we wouldn't last till then.

'We need to talk about our relationship'. It doesn't take a genius to work out what that means.

So with very little drama I explained the conditions of the trip and that we needed to work out our relationship before we committed to a trip in six months.

He agreed and a so a win had led a speedier split. Although obviously not pleasant it was a blessing. He moved out a while after and after I made sure we could remain friends I invited him to come to Panama with me..... That was the first trip I won and I have now won 21 more holidays since 2009!
